Good morning Base 2! Let’s start off a tremendous Tuesday by thinking about what makes you smile. As soon as you hear the word ‘smile’, what pops into your head? Comment to tell me! 🙂
Here are your activities for today: Tuesday 2nd June
For maths, let’s get making a different paper plane. See today’s document for ideas on how to change your plane design, or check out this document with more paper plane designs. Measure the distance it travels and compare it to yesterday’s results. ✈✈
In English, let’s say your dragon hatches and becomes real! 🐲 It wants to explore Base 2’s designs from yesterday so you need to create a dragon passport so it can travel around.
For science, you can watch video one and video two before researching and creating a food chain. You can draw your food chain or present it in a different way.
Have a tremendous Tuesday! I can’t wait to hear from you. 🙂

Hello everyone, 😉
I had a competition bullseye plane vs normal plane and bullseye won I think it won because it was more aerodynamic. My longest throw 6.6m or 660cm.
I am now doing my dragons passport I hope they will let him on the plane. 🙂
Hi Miss Jones
Here are some pictures of my gratitude jar and my dragon.
My best throw with my aeroplane was 200cm!

Hi Miss Jones and Miss Pratt. I hope you had a good half term. I spent lots of time in the garden with my brothers and walking to the sailing lake.
I enjoyed my paper airplane task and measuring how far I could throw it. My furthest throw was 2.6 metres.
I decided to make a giant dragon out of things in our garden. He has fiery orange wings and humongous flaming red scales with a burning hot head. He lays poisonous iridescent eggs.
I had a think about what I was grateful and wrote down some ideas to go in a jar.
Hi Miss Jones, Thanks for all your continued support! Sophie is really missing school, her teachers and her friends! She’s desperate to come back!
Here’s today’s work!
This is Draco my dragon I hope you like him
Love Lola x
